This striking and extremely rare original  Louis John Rhead poster was commissioned as advertising for "Le Journal de la Beauté" by the La Palme. Louis John Rhead was a renowned  English born American  during the late graphic designer who came to prominence in theblate 1800's. In 1985 he was the Gold Medal winner for Best American Poster at the first International Poster Show in Boston. "Swans" is one of his rare international commissions during the period.
